flame tip – the classic „standard“ head cutter with its two very finely tapering tips – for all kinds of applications

short tip – a slightly smaller model, also suitable for fingernails thanks to its shorter cutting length

single tip – specially for the corners; with this model you can treat the corners in particular without removing the rest of the nail

Why might a head cutter not be right for your purpose?

If you only want to cut nails, reach instead for our standard models under nail nippers, since a head cutter can also have the following disadvantages:

• a high risk of injury if used improperly, because the very fine tips can easily hurt the skin
• very sharp – you may cut off more than you intended, because the large blade is easy to underestimate
• if you need less effort or even more leverage, you need a double-action nipper
