Podiatry Nippers – Excellent Range

This range is intended solely for podiatrists and for professionals in medical foot care. The instruments are built for daily work on the patient: repeated reprocessing, high cut counts and nail conditions that defeat instruments made for private use.

Reprocessing

The nippers are supplied non-sterile and must be reprocessed before first use and after every treatment. All models are made of stainless steel and can be cleaned, disinfected and sterilised. Classification, procedure and validation of reprocessing are the responsibility of your practice and depend on the specific use.

What the range covers

  • Nail nippers – for firm and thickened nail plates, with straight, curved or tower-point cutting edges
  • Corner nippers – slim, tapered edges for the nail groove and ingrown nail corners
  • Cuticle nippers – edge lengths from 3.5 to 15 mm, lap joint or with scissor handles
  • Double-action nippers – lever transmission for low-effort cutting of hard nails
  • Front cutters and nail splitter – for heavily thickened and arched nail plates

What matters when choosing

Three features are decisive: the edge length, the edge shape – straight, curved, tower-point, laterally tapered or inset – and the spring type. Cross springs open firmly, buffer springs damp the return, adjustable double springs can be set to your own hand strength. With ingrown nails, the tip geometry decides whether you reach the nail groove without injuring the nail fold.
