Ceramic nail files

Ceramic nail files shorten and shape fingernails particularly gently. The fine, hard ceramic surface removes the nail evenly instead of roughening it. This leaves the edges smooth and less prone to splitting.

Advantages of a ceramic file

  • Gentle filing, even for soft or brittle nails
  • Several grits on one file: shorten, shape, smooth and polish (4-in-1)
  • Hygienic: ceramic can be cleaned with soap and water and disinfected
  • Durable: the surface wears much more slowly than with emery boards

How to file correctly

Whenever possible, file dry nails and always in one direction, from the side towards the centre. Start with the coarser side to shorten and work your way to the finest side to smooth the edge and polish the nail. Rinse the file briefly under water after use.
