The double-lever action makes a precise cut possible with much less effort than a comparable clipper without leverage. Opening the clipper while cutting is supported by the spring. Unlike coil springs, leaf springs are easier to clean. Both handles are ribbed, providing a secure grip and helping to prevent slipping. Closed and locked, the clipper takes up little space in a drawer or toiletry bag, while the smooth-running lock ensures safe storage.
