Use:
- Attach the strop to a hook or similar and pull it taut.
- Place the razor flat with spine and edge resting on the leather.

Draw spine first along the strop, with the edge pointing away from the direction of travel; at the end, turn the razor over its spine, never over the edge.
- Several calm strokes per side (e.g. 15–30) before every shave.
Note: Store the leather dry and flat; protect it from moisture. If necessary, treat lightly with leather grease.
