The DOVO XL Strop realigns the fine burr on your straight razor's edge before every shave and so gives you a smooth, thorough result. As a hanging strop it is pulled taut; you then guide the razor along the leather, lying flat on spine and edge, moving towards the spine. The XL strop offers a particularly generous working surface and can be rolled up to save space after use.

How to use:
- Fix the strop to a hook or similar and pull it taut.
- Lay the razor flat on spine and edge.

Draw it away from you towards the spine; at the end of each pass turn it over the spine, never over the edge.
- Make several unhurried passes per side before every shave (e.g. 15–30).
Care advice: store the leather dry and flat and protect it from moisture. Treat it sparingly with leather grease if required.
