Hot-forged tailor's scissors made of stainless steel – in six sizes from 7 to 12 inch. The angled shape lets the fabric lie flat on the table while cutting, which is what makes straight cuts along long lengths possible in the first place. The thinly ground blades cut cleanly instead of pushing the fabric ahead of them.
The strong blades handle several layers of fabric in one go. The larger sizes from 10 inch also cope with felt, leather and technical textiles.

Which size? For normal cutting, 8 to 9 inch is the usual choice. From 10 inch you gain leverage for thick materials and long straight cuts, but lose control on small radii.
Please do not use on paper. Paper and cardboard contain mineral fillers that are harder than the steel of the cutting edge – just a few cuts are enough to ruin a pair of fabric scissors. Use household scissors for that.
Care: Dry after contact with moisture, occasionally put a drop of oil in the joint, do not put in the dishwasher. If the cut gets worse, the scissors are usually not blunt but just loose or dirty. If they are blunt after all, our sharpening service will resharpen them.
