What is a corner nipper used for?

The corner nipper is a precision tool for cutting overhanging or ingrown fingernails and toenails. Its very sharp edge can be placed accurately and cuts exactly where a standard nail nipper no longer reaches.

Corner nippers are among the specialist nippers used in manicure and pedicure and are particularly suited to professional work. Different sizes and edge shapes cover the various applications. The double spring gives more leverage than a single spring, which helps with thicker skin remnants. The scissor handle with finger rings suits both right- and left-handed users.

Corner nippers differ from nail nippers in that they were developed specifically for ingrown nails, to reach into the corners.

For finishing, use a nail file or a cuticle pusher to smooth the cut edge.

Material

Our corner nippers are made of high-grade rust-free surgical stainless steel, forged and 100 % sterilisable, anti-allergenic, nickel-free and rust-free.

Application

The corner nipper is opened by folding out or engaging the spring. You can then cut precisely along the cuticle with light pressure, slowly and evenly. After use, release the tension from the spring and fold it in.

Warranty and service

On all nippers we grant a 1-year manufacturer's warranty and a free re-sharpening service within the warranty period.
