What bit materials are available – carbide or diamond?

Carbide bits remove material through cutting and are suitable for gel and acrylic (carbide bit). Diamond bits grind finely and are ideal for natural nails, cuticles, and sensitive areas (diamond cone bit).

What do the grits XC, C, M, F, and XF mean?

The letters stand for the grit: XC extra coarse, C coarse, M medium, F fine, XF extra fine. Coarse removes material quickly, fine refines the surface:

Which bit is suitable for removing gel and acrylic?

For quickly removing gel and acrylic, coarse carbide bits in a flame shape are suitable. Then switch to a finer grit for finishing.

Which bit is suitable for cuticle care?

For the cuticle, a fine diamond bit is suitable – it works gently and precisely on the sensitive nail fold.

What bit shapes are available (flame, cone)?

The flame shape is suitable for working on the nail fold and under the nail, while the cone shape (diamond cone bit) is used for smoothing larger areas. The shape determines how well you can reach certain areas.

Our bits have the common standard shank of 3/32 inch (2.35 mm) and therefore fit most commercially available electric nail drills.

Yes – fine diamond bits are recommended for natural nails, while coarser carbide bits are better for gel and acrylic. Always work on natural nails at a low speed and with light pressure.

How do I clean and disinfect nail drill bits?

Remove dust after each use, then clean and disinfect; carbide and diamond bits can also be sterilized. This keeps them hygienic and sharp for longer.
