The heavy 6/8" blade made of carbon steel 1.2210 (“silver steel”) is full hollow ground and hardened to approx. 61 HRC. Fine 24-carat gold decorations on blade and tang as well as the mother-of-pearl white acrylic handle (“Perla”) give the razor a luxurious look. Use and care:
- Strop on the leather strop before each shave.
- Prepare the skin with warm water, pre-shave and lather.
- Shave at a flat angle (~30°) with minimal pressure.
- After use, rinse, dry thoroughly and oil the carbon steel lightly on a regular basis.
